9-1-1 Green
The story, in itself, was amazing:
A young mom had, over the three years of her little girl’s life, made up little songs to sing to her. This not only made the child happy, but taught her things that she needed to know.
Like … 9-1-1- Green.
The song title, of course, refers to the number for emergencies and the “talk” button on most cell phones. The mom wanted her little angel to learn this at an early age.
Little did she know the youngster would have to use what she learned from the song.
The mother apparently had an attack of some sort and had fainted. Her three-year-old, seeing her mom in terrible shape, remembered what she’d learned, got to her mom’s cell, and dialed:
9-1-1- Green.
Paramedics arrived and the mom’s now all right. The daughter saved her life!
But it brings to mind this: Why don’t we make use of that here?? I mean, teach our kids who to call in the event of an emergency! All it takes is a song, tailored to our little kids and sung out of sincerity and love!
