Around the nation, our city’s becoming known as one of the business meccas of America. In many of the promos and ads for the QC, photos of the concrete-and-steel downtown area are preferred over more tranquil settings (like Freedom Park).
It seems like these ad agencies — the ones that promote Charlotte to the world — are missing something: We have thousands here who are environmentally conscious, doing their best to not only provide healthier and safer lives for themselves and their families but a better and more beautiful area for everyone to enjoy!
I realize that, in corporate America, this doesn’t sell — but it’s everything to the average, everyday worker/stay-at-home mom/teacher/preacher/etc! It’s especially true since all the talk about global-warming, ozone depletion and other environmental factors hit our headlines!
We need to let everyone know that we’ve banded together to make a safer, more eco-friendly city … and, while it’s good to move here due to our booming business landscape, it’d be even better for them if they knew the air/water/etc. was clean and pollutant -free, right?
