The Medical Miracle in the QC

by

Carolinas Medical Center in CharlotteIt seems that, of all the professions on the books these days, those carrying the descriptions of doctor or nurse have caught more flak over the past few decades than any.

Yet, I dare you to find any more concerned, empathetic and skilled physicians and nurses than we have right here in the Queen City! Whether they’re at any of Carolinas Medical Center’s Health Care outreaches (or the main hospital itself), Presbyterian, Mercy or with private M.D.s, they provide (in my opinion — and as said before — this Relic’s been around!) the very best in care!

Imagine, if you will, being on-duty for more hours per day than any “9-to-5″ worker; being on your feet on tiled floors during 99% of that time; answering questions from worried, crying, occasionally-angry family members; having to do your work in “double-time” and precisely; dealing with piles of charts, requests, updates, prescriptions, being “on-call” … and all with the knowledge that one slip-up could conceivably mean the difference between life and death for someone!

And that’s just the nurses! Imagine what a doctor has to go through in this near-megalopolis!!

I’m blessed to have had over 20 of my cousins and direct relatives employed as nurses, interns or whatever in the Charlotte system … and, from them, I’ve learned that compassion, understanding and patience are the three things these people want the most from their patients (and their families). When you look at the tremendous success rate these hospitals, doctors, surgeons and nurses have; when you see all the little, cherubic faces that are here thanks to their expertise; when you look into the eyes of a worried father, brother, wife or sister and see hope instead of fear and despair over a loved one’s illness … you can thank these true “angels of mercy.”

Certainly, one Relic thanks them … from the bottom of this rock-and-roll heart …

CLEANSING THE SYSTEM … A NECESSITY FOR HEALTH

Back when I was a kid, my daddy used to tell me that “the best way to take care of your health is to keep your insides cleaned out”. And, y’know, as I get older, I realize he was right! At 57, I know it’s important to cleanse the colon and liver in order to live a healthier and longer life (I think you know it, too … right??)

Now, there’s a great site you can refer to if you want to know more about colon-and-liver cleansing. The folks at Puristat not only describe its importance, but actually educate you on things like diverticulitis, parasites, weight gain, IBS and much more! They give you product choices that help cleanse the system, lifestyle tips, articles and even a list of symptoms to determine if you’re in need of a colon-cleanse!

The products they offer are top-quality, proven effective and wallet-friendly! Also, you can be assured that your order will be placed via a very secure server to avoid anyone getting your information!

Listen … 70% of your immune system makes its home in the digestive system, so it’s vital to take care of it. The symptoms listed on their front page will let you know, in no uncertain terms (Grandpa Virge’s favorite term. I just “adopted” it) that something’s just not right. So take a minute and click on the link for the best and most thoroughly successful colon cleanse information, education and products. Believe me … you really will appreciate it in the long run!
